Restore Our Community Traditions and Amenities in Stanley/Hollywood

Restore Our Community Traditions and Amenities in Stanley/Hollywood
The Issue
I have called Stanley/Hollywood my home for the past 11 years. Every year, we've hung Christmas lights, a tradition that brings joy to not only my family but also our neighbors and their children. This year, however, we were told that we could no longer hang these lights - a decision that feels both mean-spirited and nonsensical considering tenants pay for their own electricity and hooks have been in place for over 12 years.
Our community is more than just a collection of buildings; it's a place where traditions are cherished and communal spaces like the rooftop and deck contribute to our sense of home. Recently, these amenities have been restricted or removed entirely by Brian Lezak and @highpointmanagement.
The impact of such changes is more than aesthetic; it affects our quality of life. According to research from the University of California (2019), communal spaces play an essential role in fostering social connections among residents which can lead to improved mental health.
We are calling on Brian Lezak and @highpointmanagement to restore our community traditions by allowing us once again to hang Christmas lights as well as reinstating access to communal spaces like the rooftop deck. Our community deserves better than this erosion of its character.
Please sign this petition if you believe in preserving the spirit of Stanley/Hollywood's community traditions.
