Since 2016, the social media platform known as Facebook has been poorly managed and has landed its users in a large amount of arbitrary trouble. Among the issues against which people using Facebook have been banging their heads since that calendar year are frequent violations of community standards, account restrictions, needless options for viewing comments below postings, lacks security against commandeered or duplicated profiles, among other matters.

The chances are that, if changes are made to restore Facebook's earlier operation, the entire platform could wind up collapsing and leaving millions of users with a vital part of their daily activity stymied as a result. Facebook used to be just about networking, not arbitrarily making people vulnerable.

My petition is for the original standards that defined and framed Facebook predating 2016 to be resumed and reinstated. The word has circulated that Facebook's parent company, Meta, is not overseen by human beings, rather seem to by automation. That has to be overturned. Meta needs to be administered by human beings instead of automated numerics, and the original Facebook standards predating 2016 need to be restored. If that involves Mark Zuckerberg resuming his original place as the CEO of Facebook and Meta, so be it.
