As residents of Merion Station, we live on a street that is both a danger to our children and an eyesore to our community. Moreover, this road does not meet the aesthetic standards of our township. It has been patched with inappropriate materials that detract from its original beauty. Despite being on a replacement list for over ten years, no action has been taken by local authorities.

According to data from the National Safety Council (NSC), pedestrian injuries due to poor infrastructure are alarmingly high in residential areas across America. We cannot allow this statistic to become a reality in Merion Station.

We urge local authorities and relevant stakeholders to either restore our beloved red brick road or replace it with a modern safe alternative complete with sidewalks. This is not just about preserving historical charm or aesthetics; it's about ensuring safety and quality of life for all residents.
