Good morning! Just under a week ago, we launched our petition to bring metal detecting back to New Orleans City Park, and our support is growing! We're on track to hit 150 signatures today.

We're not just growing locally; we're gathering support from all corners of the country, with folks in more than 14 states backing our efforts. People who have not metal detected in City Park are joining us. They get it: when City Park officials ban an activity without any explanation or even a reply to our messages, it's a huge red flag for public spaces everywhere. If it can happen in New Orleans, it can happen in any park across the U.S.!

We want to sit down with the people who made this decision. We want to hear their reasons and work with them to find real solutions to get metal detecting restored in the park. Every signature helps, so please keep sharing our petition with everyone you know and ask them to support us.
