*Petition to Restore Leadership and Name of Sahabah Jumu'ah Mosque*

We, the students of Shaykh Muhammad bn Uthman (Abu Asim), humbly submit this petition to bring to your attention a grave injustice perpetrated against our beloved Shaykh.

For over 24 years, Shaykh Muhammad bn Uthman has selflessly led the Sahabah Jumu'ah Mosque, providing spiritual guidance and community service. Some years ago, someone made a promise to build a larger mosque, which will retain the name "Sahabah Juma'ah Mosque" in order to promote and enhance the Da'awah services of our Shaykh. 

Regrettably, when the new mosque was commissioned last year, our Shaykh was unjustly denied leadership, and the mosque was named differently. This decision has caused undue tension within the community, and we consider it as a plot to retard our Shaykh's mission of spreading Islamic knowledge throughout Nigeria, and the world at large. 

We, therefore, respectfully request that you:

1. Restore Shaykh Muhammad bn Uthman's leadership of the new mosque.
2. Change the name of the new mosque to "Sahabah Jumu'ah Mosque" as originally intended. 

By addressing these grievances, we hope to:

- Uphold justice and fairness within our community.
- Preserve the legacy of our Shaykh's tireless service.
- Promote unity and harmony among Muslims.

We believe that your prompt attention to this matter will bring relief to our Shaykh, our community, and the Muslim Ummah at large.
