As a devoted husband and father, I'm deeply committed to ensuring the safety of my wife and children. Recent unwanted occurrences truly emphasize the insecurities we all face in our daily lives. The inability to legally own a firearm in full compliance with the law violates my natural right to protect my family and property effectively.

As per 2017 FBI statistics, a significant portion of the 1.2 million violent crimes in the US could have been deterred if the victims were able to legally defend themselves [FBI report, 2017]. Reinstating the lawful right of responsible citizens to own firearms can bolster personal security while also maintaining public safety.

In full regard for the importance of ensuring public safety, we call for a balanced law.
