Since 2017, we, the concerned citizens and advocates for the Ventana Wilderness, have been tirelessly working to shed light on the corruption and mismanagement within the King City office of the National Forest Service. Unfortunately, our efforts have been consistently hampered by District Ranger Fin Efiret, who has not only resisted our attempts to report misinformation and criminal activity but has also actively stonewalled any formal investigations into these serious allegations.

The King City office, responsible for overseeing the preservation and management of the remarkable Ventana Wilderness area, should operate transparently and in accordance with the U.S. Constitution. However, under Ranger Efiret's tenure, we have observed a disturbing pattern of accountability being bypassed, which jeopardizes not only the integrity of this essential public service but also the safety and preservation of our natural environment.

The Ventana Wilderness is a critical component of the local ecosystem and a treasured destination for countless outdoor enthusiasts, providing not only recreational opportunities but also essential habitat for diverse wildlife.
