The transformation of Highway 63 from a 4-lane to a 2-lane road in Spooner, WI has significantly disrupted daily life. Previously, navigating our charming town was a hassle-free experience, often taking no more than five minutes. Now, however, what was once a quick journey has doubled or even tripled in duration, creating severe inconveniences for residents and visitors alike.

Traffic congestion has overwhelmed the town, making simple activities like turning left, especially when heading north, an exasperating ordeal. Worst of all, this change has also led to an alarming increase in road accidents, which I have witnessed firsthand. It’s become an unfortunate reality that the safety and efficiency of our community's roads have been compromised.

Reverting Highway 63 back to its previous 4-lane structure is not just a matter of convenience; it is an urgent safety issue. Restoring the highway will alleviate traffic congestion, reduce the risk of accidents, and reclaim the ease of travel that was once a hallmark of Spooner.
