The Issue

The Fort Worth Metro Volleyball Officials (FWMVB), whom are also members of the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO), are facing an alarming situation that necessitates immediate attention and action. We have witnessed disturbing instances of unethical behavior, discrimination, and harassment that threaten the integrity and future of our volleyball organization. This is not just a professional concern for many of us—it's deeply personal. We have seen how this ongoing discord negatively impacts our chapter, our schools,  and hampers the progress of one of the most dedicated and enthusiastic chapters in the state.

As members who are invested in the well-being and success of the FWMVB Chapter, we call for the restoration of our chapter’s leadership to the structure it had prior to October 31, 2025. This leadership was steering the chapter in the right direction—supporting growth, professionalism, and an inclusive environment for all officials and volleyball enthusiasts. Changes made after this date have not reflected the values or the mission that we collectively stand for.

Moreover, it is imperative to address the false claims and accusations made by Todd Hatcher and Kristi Hopkins. These assertions have not only tarnished the reputation of our leadership and its members but have also created an atmosphere of mistrust and division that threatens the camaraderie and spirit of the FWMVB Chapter.

Such disparagement cannot be tolerated any longer. We demand a transparent and fair investigation into these actions and an immediate dismissal of all unjust claims that have caused unnecessary distress and discord among our members. Our chapter deserves to focus on what truly matters: promoting the growth and love for volleyball, supporting its officials, and fostering an environment where everyone can thrive without fear of harassment or discrimination.

I urge every member of our volleyball community, every supporter of fairness, and every individual who believes in the right to a safe and inclusive sporting environment, to stand with us in this cause. Sign this petition to show your support for the Fort Worth Metro Volleyball Officials Chapter as we strive to restore our leadership, dismiss baseless accusations, and rejuvenate our officiating spirit. Together, we can ensure that FWMVB remains a beacon of excellence, fairness, and unity in the Texas volleyball officiating world.
