The recent change in lunch schedules at our schools in Stafford, VA has left many students and parents dissatisfied. Previously, we enjoyed a full one-hour lunch period which allowed adequate time for eating and socializing. However, this has been replaced with three separate lunch periods. This new system is not only disruptive to the academic schedule but also deprives students of their much-needed break during the day.

The decision to implement this change was made without consulting us - the students who are directly affected by it. We believe that our voices should be heard when decisions that impact our daily lives are made.
