Restore full cyclist access to Pacific Centre Parkade

Restore full cyclist access to Pacific Centre Parkade
The Issue
We, the undersigned cyclist users of the Pacific Centre parkade, which is owned by the City of Vancouver and managed by the City-owned EasyPark company, respectfully petition the City and EasyPark to take immediate and effective action to improve cyclists' access to the parkade, specifically by restoring access to the ramps that we formerly used to enter and exit the facility. We believe that fostering a bike-friendly urban environment – not just on the streets, but in parking facilities – aligns with the City's commitment to active transportation and the objectives of the City’s Climate Emergency Action Plan. Although we believe the ramps are safe for bicycles, we are open to measures that would help mitigate any perceived liability risk on the part of the City and EasyPark, including the signing of individual waivers of liability.
