**Since this petition was created, it has come to my attention that district wide special education students will also be affected by this change. They will also need courtesy bussing to Precious Angels from their designated school.

For many years, families in Ramtown, Howell, New Jersey, have depended on the reliable courtesy busing provided for their children to reach the Precious Angels Before care and Aftercare Programs. For working parents, knowing that their children are transported to a safe, familiar, and nurturing environment has provided an essential peace of mind. However, we were recently notified—merely a month before the school year begins—that this crucial courtesy transportation service will no longer be available.

This sudden and unexpected decision has left many parents in a difficult position, scrambling to make alternative arrangements with little notice. Parents who have work commitments and no feasible means to transport their children may now face significant challenges. Without this service, many children might miss out on the quality care provided by Precious Angels—a program they have come to know and love.

We request Howell Township Public Schools and relevant authorities to reconsider this decision and reinstate the courtesy transportation to Precious Angels Before care and Aftercare Programs for Ramtown students. Maintaining this service ensures equal access to before and after school care for all families and supports parents in managing their professional and personal responsibilities seamlessly.

What makes this decision even more difficult to understand is that students attending Greenville Elementary School will continue receiving courtesy transportation to Precious Angels, while Ramtown students will not. Since both schools are located next to each other and families have relied on this service in previous years, we believe this change creates an unfair disparity between students and families within the same district.

Parents should have the opportunity to choose the before care and aftercare program that best meets their children's needs. Many families have selected Precious Angels because it is a trusted, welcoming environment where their children feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Removing transportation limits that choice and places an unnecessary burden on working families who depend on reliable before and after-school care.

We respectfully ask the Howell Township School District and the Board of Education to:

-Reinstate courtesy transportation from Ramtown Elementary School to Precious Angels Before Care and Aftercare Programs.
-Ensure that Ramtown families receive the same transportation consideration currently being provided to Greenville families.
-Reevaluate this decision with the needs of working families and the well-being of our children in mind.
