Recognising the significant interest in pickleball among residents of Nether Providence Township, we campaign for the restoration and expansion of pickleball courts at Gouley Park. The removal of these courts has disappointed many community members. As a rapidly growing sport in the United States, referenced by The Sports & Fitness Industry Association, it is crucial to have adequate facilities to foster the active participation of people of all ages. We urge the township commission to take immediate action to build courts that can accommodate our passionate pickleball players. Attention to this matter not only promotes physical health and well-being within our community but is representative of our desire for responsive and effective township bodies.
