I am a student in the Katy Independent School District, and like many of my peers, I enjoy playing games on CoolMathGames during my free time in class. One game that particularly interests me is "Copter Royale," which I often play during my engineering class. Recently, however, access to this site has been blocked on our school's WiFi network.

This is not just about entertainment; studies have shown that short breaks can improve focus and productivity (Source: American Psychological Association). Games like those found on CoolMathGames can provide a much-needed respite from the rigors of academic work. They also help develop problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.

Blocking access to these games deprives us students of a valuable tool for relaxation and cognitive development. We understand the need for responsible internet use at school, but we believe there should be room for flexibility.

We urge the administration of KatyISD to reconsider their decision and restore access to CoolMathGames on our school's WiFi network. Please sign this petition if you agree with our cause.
