A 30% reduction in funding would result in a drastic and devastating impact to library services and materials, thereby causing irreparable and grievous harm to the citizens of New Britain.

We respectfully request that the $900,000 cut from the New Britain Public Library's Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Budget Appropriation Request be restored so that full services and materials can be provided to the community.
