Dear Hindu Sanatana Followers,

It is truly unfortunate and disheartening to see our beloved Lord Shrinathji's image being used inappropriately on clothing by prominent figures like Nita Ambani and Radhika Merchant. While we do not support ultra-conservatism, it is undeniably disrespectful to have the Lord of the Universe placed on parts of the body such as the knees and the back of a blouse.

According to the principles of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, the icons, symbols, and images of deities including Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, and Devi Mata should be placed on the forehead as Tilak, as devotional sanctified mudras, or worn as religious sanctified Kanthimala. Seeing such public figures, who are followers of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, disrespect Lord Shrinathji by wearing his images on inappropriate parts of their attire deeply hurts our religious sentiments.

This is not the first time this has happened. In 2015, Ms. Nita Ambani wore a dress with Lord Shrinathji's image on the back of her blouse during Parimal Nathwani's son's wedding. 

The deities of Hindu Sanatana should not become the means of fashion and should not be represented as motifs for fashion and exhibitionism. At the least, the pictures and symbols of the deities must never to worn on the lower parts or the private parts of the body to maintain the dignity and respect of our deities and the religion.

We demand an official public apology from Nita Ambani and Radhika Merchant for hurting the religious sentiments of the entire global community of Lord Shrinathji's devotees. They should also ensure that they do not disrespect Lord Shrinathji again by such acts in the future.

हिंदू सनातन धर्म के सिद्धांतों के अनुसार, शिव, कृष्ण और देवी जैसे देवताओं के प्रतीक, प्रतीक और छवियों को तिलक के रूप में माथे पर, भक्तिपूर्ण पवित्र मुद्रा के रूप में, या धार्मिक पवित्र कंठमाला के रूप में धारण करना चाहिए। ऐसे सार्वजनिक हस्तियों को देखकर, जो हिंदू सनातन धर्म के अनुयायी हैं, भगवान श्रीनाथजी का अनादर करते हुए उनके चित्रों को उनके परिधानों के अनुचित हिस्सों पर धारण करते हुए देखकर हमारे धार्मिक भावनाओं को गहरा ठेस पहुंचता है।

यह पहली बार नहीं है जब ऐसा हुआ है। 2015 में, नीता अंबानी ने परिमल नाथवानी के बेटे की शादी के दौरान अपने ब्लाउज की पीठ पर भगवान श्रीनाथजी की छवि के साथ एक पोशाक पहनी थी।

हिंदू सनातन धर्म के देवताओं को फैशन का साधन नहीं बनना चाहिए और उन्हें फैशन और प्रदर्शनवाद के प्रतीक के रूप में नहीं प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। कम से कम, देवताओं की तस्वीरें और प्रतीक शरीर के निचले हिस्सों या निजी हिस्सों पर कभी नहीं पहने जाने चाहिए ताकि हमारे देवताओं और धर्म की गरिमा और सम्मान बनाए रखा जा सके।

हम नीता अंबानी और राधिका मर्चेंट से भगवान श्रीनाथजी के भक्तों के पूरे वैश्विक समुदाय की धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुँचाने के लिए एक आधिकारिक सार्वजनिक माफी की मांग करते हैं। उन्हें यह भी सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि वे भविष्य में ऐसे कार्यों द्वारा भगवान श्रीनाथजी का अपमान न करें।
