We, the people of faith and respect for all religions, request that the organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games honor and uphold the sanctity of all religious symbols and traditions. At the Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, a parody of the "The Last Supper" was performed, which we consider to be a blasphemous act. Mocking any figure of religious importance is both disrespectful and divisive. Mocking Jesus during the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony was extremely disrespectful to all Christians.

The Olympics Games are meant to unite the world, but in this case, they have caused division and global uproar.

Christianity remains one of the world's largest religious groups, and such affronts to its symbols are an affront to billions of believers globally. We request the International Olympic Committee to condemn the Paris 2024 Olympic organizers for this blasphemous act and to institute appropriate guidelines for opening ceremonies and other events to avoid further religious insensitivity. We request the organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to respect Christians all over the world and symbols of Christian faith.
