The Issue

I, Branden Wolfe, Store Manager for the Ridgedale Center, MN, location of Lovisa Pty Ltd,  a popular international fashion jewelry retailer in the US call for the immediate resignation of Rashea Coleman and Courtney Barnfield. On April 30th, 2024, our district manager, Gabriela Gonzalez, was unjustly fired for filing a harassment claim against Rashea Coleman. This is not an isolated incident but part of a larger pattern of poor management and heinous treatment by both Coleman and Barnfield.

Lovisa prides itself on its commitment to providing an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued. However, under the leadership of these two individuals, our workplace has become toxic and degrading. The constant mistreatment has led to high turnover rates among staff members who feel undervalued and disrespected.

According to the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), it is illegal to retaliate against employees for reporting harassment or discrimination in the workplace. Yet this is exactly what happened in our case when our district manager, Gabriela Gonzalez, was terminated after raising her concerns.

We are calling on Lovisa's upper management to take immediate action by forcing the resignation of Rashea Coleman and Courtney Barnfield and reinstating Gabriela Gonzalez’s duties as District Manager for the Minnesota district.  Rashea Coleman and Courtney Barnfield’s continued presence within our company undermines its core values and negatively impacts employee morale.

This petition seeks the justice not just for our former district manager but also for all current employees who continue to suffer under their leadership. We deserve better from those entrusted with managing us; we deserve respect, fairness, and dignity at work.

Please sign this petition if you believe in creating safer workplaces free from harassment or any form of degradation.
