The Issue

I am a NEET aspirant and like many others, I am disillusioned and frustrated by the current state of our educational system. How can I possibly trust a system that constantly compromises on integrity and transparency, the very foundations of education? My future, along with that of countless other students, hangs in the balance, teetering on the edge of uncertainty due to systemic inefficiencies. We have witnessed too many lives lost, dreams shattered, and families left in ruins, all due to the persistent negligence and failure of our educational governance.

The time has come for the government to take responsibility for their actions. Sonam Wangchuk, a stalwart advocate for educational reform, stands in contrast to the inefficacy that plagues our current system. He has been on an indefinite hunger strike for weeks on end. The government first reaction to this was to drag him out of the peaceful protest hidden in white cloth as if he was a corpse. We must align with leaders who prioritize reform and hold accountable those who fail to meet their fundamental duties to Indian society. Dharmendra Pradhan, the current Union Minister of Education, has shown a staggering lack of transparency and accountability. In the wake of numerous incidents, such as pervasive paper leaks and increasing crime rates, his role demands scrutiny and he must resign for the failures during his tenure.

Furthermore, the Indian government as a whole must be held accountable. Our democracy’s core values are being undermined by irresponsible governance. The lack of genuine urgency in addressing key systemic issues is a betrayal to our nation's youth. The educational system needs a comprehensive overhaul where efficiency and justice are paramount. Human rights should be prioritized; every student deserves a chance at a future defined by success and not marred by incompetence and apathy.

We demand fast and decisive action. Policies and practices must reflect the urgency and the scale of the challenges our educational system faces today. The government must initiate a series of stringent reforms that will safeguard the interests of students and restore confidence in our system. The call for change is not just a plea, it's a fundamental right. Let's join together to ensure that our voices are heard and that the government acts in favor of its citizens.
