Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer has resigned amid an active misconduct probe — but the investigation is not over.

The Department of Labor’s Inspector General has been investigating allegations, including:

An alleged inappropriate relationship with a subordinate
Staff resignations tied to a travel fraud probe
Ongoing questions about conduct within her leadership team
Multiple top aides have already resigned or been placed on leave, and key parts of the investigation were still ongoing — including a scheduled interview with the Secretary herself.

Now she has stepped down.

But resignation does not answer the questions.
