PETITION DEMANDING THE IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION OF REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 13 BOARD CHAIR LINDSAY DAHLHEIMER
We, the undersigned residents, parents, staff, and stakeholders of Regional School District 13, submit this petition to demand the immediate resignation of Lindsay Dahlheimer from her position as Chair of the Board of Education.
Our demand is based on serious concerns regarding her conduct, which we believe is unethical, unprofessional, and damaging to the integrity of our district’s leadership. The following issues are at the core of this petition:
Unprofessional Conduct Toward Students
It has been reported that Mrs. Dahlheimer has repeatedly referred to students using derogatory and inappropriate language. Such behavior is wholly unacceptable from anyone in a leadership role, especially one charged with protecting and supporting the welfare of children.
Abuse of Position for Personal Gain
There are credible allegations that Mrs. Dahlheimer has used her role as Chair to benefit herself and personal associates, including preferential treatment and inappropriate influence over district decisions. This raises significant ethical concerns and reflects a serious conflict of interest.
Active Legal Action by a District Staff Member
Mrs. Dahlheimer is currently the subject of a lawsuit filed by a member of the district’s own staff. While the legal process must take its course, the very existence of such a lawsuit undermines her credibility and ability to effectively lead a public institution with transparency and trust.
As members of this community, we believe our children deserve leadership that is honest, respectful, and dedicated solely to their best interests. The current behavior and actions attributed to Ms. Dahlheimer represent a clear violation of the ethical standards expected of someone in her position.
We call on Lindsay Dahlheimer to take responsibility for her actions and resign immediately for the good of the students, staff, and families of Regional School District 13.
