Stop the new proposed expansion road beside Mulligans

Stop the new proposed expansion road beside Mulligans
The Issue
Extending Reunion by adding a new road!
STOP THE NEW ROAD IN REUNION
Pulte filed with Hall County on June 28, 2021 a plan to build a new road off Grand Reunion Drive near the big curve between Mulligan’s parking lot (adjacent to Mulligans) and the home at 7010 Grand Reunion Drive. This is currently green space/golf course owned lot (Reunion LLC). This is part of a new 144 home development Pulte has planned to expand behind this area in Reunion and a way to connect into our existing Community, picture of road location attached.
There is currently an application with Hall county to extend Reunion by building on a large piece of land (58.96 acres) that lies directly behind Dove Point and stretches down Spout Springs Road and hole nine on the golf course.
The applicant is requesting to rezone the property from Agricultural-Residential-IV (AR-IV) to Planned Residential Development (PRD) as an extension of the existing Reunion subdivision. The proposed development includes 144 detached single-family lots, which would increase the overall number of lots approved in Reunion from 856 to 946, currently 802 lots are developed with residences.
With the extension plans, a new road would be added to an existing piece of land that is next to the Mulligans parking lot; which is currently owned by the golf course. This is an already dangerous curve on grand reunion and would bring increased neighborhood traffic as well as “cut-through” traffic endangering children on bikes, walkers and residents.
We are asking residents and anyone in the community that this would affect to sign this petition to stop the road that will be added beside Mulligans off Grand Reunion Drive.
