TELL HB CITY COUNCIL TO STOP HIGH DENSITY AND FIGHT FOR OUR SUBURBAN BEACH COMMUNITY

TELL HB CITY COUNCIL TO STOP HIGH DENSITY AND FIGHT FOR OUR SUBURBAN BEACH COMMUNITY
The Issue
Tell HB City Council to Support Agenda Item #19 on the April 19th City Council meeting and unleash the City Attorney's Office to fight Sacramento on the forced zoning for 13,386 additional STACK & PACK HIGH DENSITY Apartments.
Sacramento is unlawfully forcing Huntington Beach to zone for 13,386 HIGH DENSITY (HDD) units that will result in increased rental costs to existing renters and destruction of our suburban beach community. 13,386 units is the equivalent of 47 Elan's (Beach/Ellis) or 26 Luce (Gothard/Edinger) stack & pack buildings. The Huntington Beach City Attorney's office has successfully fought back the unlawful overreach of Sacramento from taking away local control in previous lawsuits so they must be given the direction from City Council to fight this as well.
Please help in urging the City Council by telling them that they must act boldly and decisively to protect the residents of Huntington Beach.
