There is only one grocery store in Chowan County.  Foodlion has been good but they are over crowded and often cannot keep shelves stocked. Residents need another place to shop.  Piggy Wiggly has fantastic stores in Kinston, NC and other places around North Carolina.

They were set to open a store in Edenton but for some reason did not go through with the opening. We want you Piggy Wiggly.
