To review the current proposal to increase the Council rate by 4%. Most of the City of Armadale residents, especially in the newly developed area like Harrisdale, Hilbert, Haynes, and Piara Water, cannot afford further sharp rate increases because we are already paying around twice the City's average council rates. Therefore, we would like to request the Council to consider a likely increase of about 1.25%, which is affordable in the current economic condition. Please show some compassion to the residents of Armadale during the pandemic and living cost hike crisis
