Autism spectrum condition (ASC)  is a very common condition that effects many many people, unfortunately due to the gross lack in research done on autism in AFABS (assigned female at birth) many go undiagnosed and or misdiagnosed with various mental health conditions like; depression, borderline personality disorder (BPD), avoidant personality disorder (AVPD), anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and many more. This leads to years of confusion, trauma and incorrect support/medication. The diagnosis of autism is very important, especially in children so they can access the support and validation they need, without this these children grow up traumatised from constant invalidation, abuse and general misunderstanding from those around them all through childhood. This type of repetitive trauma increases the likehood of serious mental illness later in life like BPD. 

With this petition my goal is to get more research done on AFAB autistics, raise awareness of autism (especially in AFABS) and for teachers, GPs, therapists and psychologists etc to get educated on autism and get rid of the stereotypes of 'boy' autism.
