Shut down “rescue” of
The Issue
Imagine you, or maybe your wife is pregnant, or perhaps you have a little one at the house, maybe you live with an elderly parent, or just another animal or two, and then you willingly seek and adopt a kitten, that you love, that then infects the whole house with roundworm, ringworm, AND gedaria? That’s exactly what happened to my young kitten in my household after adopting her from rescue out of Johnston, RI. I’m aware some animals are sick and you can’t help that, Especially kittens, it comes with the territory of adopting too, especially from a rescue..
BUT ..when almost every kitten has been sick and/or dying/died, that has been adopted from this rescue, must be SHUT DOWN NOW!!!! I will not tolerate animal abuse, and I will not stop fighting for my kitten to survive and for the other kittens and families who don’t deserve what we’ve been through!!!
MY KITTEN IS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE
Our Story:
I began on petfinder.com in June searching for a new addition for my 2 year old cat, Ellie. “Oodles of kittens”the ad read, in, looking back that sounds creepy. That’s when I first saw my new kitten, Brooklyn. I do not know her age because not provide me with the proper documentation on the day of adoption. (Mor was was she actually vetted). only had one random paper “apparently” from (the vet they use), that said they had vetted 3-4 orange cats, but nothing about an all white cat. It was strange, however I wasn’t leaving without my kitten, so I took Brookie, anyways and went home, after signing an agreement that I would spay her later on my own.
On the first day I noticed that she had some “dirt” on her face and two of her paws, it was clearly ringworm, but I just didn’t recognize it, though I Do question why did the veterinarian, TIOGUE ....
that supposedly vetted her
....how did they not see it? It got worse and worse and by day three it had grown to the point I knew something was extremely wrong, so I rushed her to the Vet ER where she was diagnosed with ringworm. It’s odd, because In the previous months, had rounds of ringworm kittens according to them from Facebook posts, So wouldn’t they look for that?
and why did DENY THAT IT came from there? The rescue acted super surprised and apologetic, even offered my money back if I RETURNED MY KITTEN, obviously I wouldn’t put an animal back in that abusive situation though, so I kept her. And have gone broke caring for her. But she’s worth it.
Why didn’t the vet notice that poor Brookie had Gedaria, and roundworm too? Four weeks later, she began throwing up ADULT WORMS. Brookie has severe diarrhea, is pooping everywhere and having accidents at like 5 or 6 months old, the poor thing, and she has been diagnosed as possibly terminally ill. She may need surgery, however she is too little and weak for that now, nor that I can afford it after all the other vet visits and medicines for her and my other cat, Ellie (2yrs). Her temp was 103.3 before bed last night, but this morning it went down to 102!!! So good progress, I just pray my little girl gets to live to see the life she so very much deserves.
I’ll do anything in my power to save Brookie and the other kittens that are barely surviving from rescue.
A FEW FOUND OUT FACTS:
-doesn’t even traps their own kittens. are a scam, neglecting kittens, and their mothers, only using them for a profit, not practicing TNR from what I have been told by another rescue. leave the mothers behind.
- and Tiger’s Den rescues are physically related, they swap kittens for profit, as they have many, many actually legal scam websites, emails, PayPal’s, Venmo’s, cashapps etc. Plus they accept personal checks/(preferred) cash. They have a license so they are taking advantage of people and kittens LEGALLY!!!!
-I’ve heard from multiple people multiple things about their adoption stories, from their kittens dying of pan leukemia, to some thankfully surviving after lots and lots of vet bills and visits. I understand that kittens are susceptible to all these conditions, HOWEVER, is selling sick cats in purpose, they know they are sick, they don’t care. They want profit.
-also runs another page called “pets for adoption, ” ...
- ocean state veterinary clinic barred the rescue for the mishandling of animals, but word on the street has it , that they get kicked out of veterinary offices a lot for that.
****please investigate all these pictures and screenshots, and come to your own conclusion about rescue!! They SHOULD be shut down immediately and I need signatures to get this ball rolling!!!...
*****if you adopted a kitten from rescue please come forward with any information to me to HELP SAVE THE KITTENS : Kaylah556@gmail.com
help me get this licensed rescue shut the f*** down!!!!!!! Kitten abuse is not cool!!!
