Climate Change is happening. Climate action is not happening enough. We are already getting further away from the climate goals of the Paris agreement. 

The result is that the 10 warmest years in recorded history have all been in the last decade (2013-2023)

My name is Tuban, and I'm nine years old, and really worried about the future of the world me and my friends would have to live in. World leaders are saying they're helping, but they're not. Why are they not helping? Because of Money and Politics.

Transitioning to a green society is a big investment for world leaders and corporates. Furthermore, it takes a long time to get the benefits of this investment. World leaders are more interested in short term benefits as they'll get voted out if no immediate benefits comes from their actions. Businesses also worry about immediate losses they might face if the transition is not managed well. 

We can not disregard their concerns. But it is also clear that climate action can not be implemented within this system. That's why we are proposing to rescue climate action from politics and money concerns. We can do that through an international body free from political influence. 

Firstly, we need to have a global advisory council consisting of prominent scientists, economists, journalists, and other specialists. Secondly, there should be a working commission of energy corporations, industrial leaders, researchers, engineers, and climate activists. 

The working commission would be responsible for producing a reasonable and sustainable plan that delivers green transition without impacting markets and economies. Advisory council would then review the plan and oversee that the plan is executed properly.

This is the only way we can cut through the delays in implementing climate action and free it from the shackles of internecine politics and fear mongering.
