The Issue

Cartoon Network has been in the pockets of so many of our childhoods. The endless hours of love and care in the content we appreciated is dying. That landscape of television has changed drastically within the past decade and it's understandable that viability for the network has suffered. But we need to show that Cartoon Network and its content still has a place in this world. We need to let them know we won't let them go quietly.

I'll be honest that I'm not very well versed in topics like this. But as of the announced merger of HBOMax and Discovery HBOmax as a streaming platform has allegedly made some drastic moves. With announced cuts to near finished projects to sudden removals of already completed and released works on the platform. The company has been quiet about its motives but the writing seems to be spelled out for us. Creators and various people who've worked on this project seemed to have had the rug pulled from under them as many seemed to have not even been notified of the sudden removals. With some content being exclusive to HBOMax some of these works are nearly lost forever and with no word from HBOMax they may take it even further. It's gotten to the point that even the mention of certain titles have been said to be completely erased from various social media run by these companies

This isn't an angry storming of the gates. This is an honest and earnest plea to spare something we love. To show that there's support and demand for this content. And that we want it promoted with hopes of more works to come. We are the consumers, so we should be the ones dictating the market. What good is merging if it means losing something forever.
