I am a student in Larchmont Village, Los Angeles, CA, USA who is facing an unfair situation. Our teacher had initially scheduled our test for one day but then abruptly changed it to the day we return from break. This sudden change has disrupted our study plans and left us with less time to prepare.

This is not just about me; it affects all students in our class who were relying on the original schedule. According to research by American Psychological Association, sudden changes in academic schedules can lead to increased stress and decreased performance among students (APA).

Moreover, this abrupt change contradicts the Los Angeles Unified School District's policy which states that "changes in test dates should be communicated at least two weeks prior" (LAUSD Policy Manual). Yet, we were informed of this change only days before.

We are not asking for special treatment but simply for fairness and respect for our time and efforts. We request that the school administration intervene and reschedule this test to a later date as originally planned.
