Being a 7th or 8th grader in Mt. Sinai, NY, means balancing schoolwork, friendships, and extracurricular activities. However, when these activities overlap, students are forced to make impossible choices between pursuing their love for theater and the excitement of spring sports.

The current Drama Club show date is set to extend into the spring sports season. This scheduling conflict is preventing many of us from experiencing both the lively world of theater and the dynamic fields of sports. Just like us, there are numerous students who look up to participating in multiple activities throughout our middle school years. With each activity providing unique benefits, rescheduling the drama show is crucial to ensure we don't miss out on important experiences and memories.
