Health Canada claims that a small percentage of patients suffer suicidal ideation from pregabalin. This is why it’s not on the pharmacy patient information paperwork. They only have to list the most common side effects. In my opinion if there’s a possibility at all it should be listed. Below is what other jurisdictions have stated .

Population-Based Cohort Studies (Sweden): A large-scale Swedish registry study involving nearly 200,000 people found that individuals on pregabalin had a 26% higher risk of suicidal behavior or death by suicide compared to when they were not taking the drug (this was a relative risk increase).
Adverse Event Reports (Australia): In reports submitted to the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), suicidal ideation was listed as an adverse event in 7% of pregabalin-related case reports (though reporting rates do not equal population prevalence).
Substance Abuse Populations: Studies involving individuals who abuse pregabalin report much higher rates. One study on patients with substance abuse disorder found that about 32.6% had suicidal ideation, a risk that increased with continuous abuse and higher doses. Another study found that almost 40% of pregabalin misuse-related ambulance attendances were associated with suicide attempts.
