Over his time in the district, Mr. John Sosa has had a transformative impact on our music program, growing it exponentially in both participation and enthusiasm. Mr. Sosa’s unique ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and varying skill levels has made the music department a place where all feel welcomed and inspired. In the last few years, enrollment in our music courses has skyrocketed under Mr. Sosa’s guidance, demonstrating clear and measurable growth. This expansion is not just about numbers; it represents the profound impact he has had on his students, nurturing their talents and fostering a sense of belonging and self-confidence. These young musicians have gone on to achieve remarkable success at regional and state competitions, truly putting our school on the map as a hub of musical excellence.

Unfortunately, despite his outstanding contributions, Mr. Sosa’s contract is currently not being prioritized for renewal. This decision not only jeopardizes the future of our flourishing music program but also risks the loss of a vital and beloved educator from our community.
