10,000+ signatures - a round of applause to each and every one of you! 👏

Just over a month since I started this petition and also since I said goodbye to my boy, Reuben.

Where do we go from here? Honestly, I’m still figuring that out as I go. There are moments of doubt, and moments where I realise I’m probably doing more than I give myself credit for. But I’ve learned that sometimes, just showing up is enough to reveal the next step. Not everything needs to be forced - in time, things become clear.

Thank you to every single person who has signed, shared, and supported this petition - especially those who have been here since day one. Hitting 10,000 signatures gives this campaign real weight, and I’ll continue reaching out to potential decision-makers to push this further.

In the meantime, keep doing what you’ve been doing. And please take a moment to slow down too - this month can get messy and overwhelming.

One last reminder: during the holiday season, more flowers and plants enter our homes as gifts and decor. Keep an eye out for your own pets and those of your family and friends. A small awareness check can make a big difference.

The photo of Reuben is all of us once this hectic month is over - haha!

Jun 😊
