Require MBTA to Improve Commuter Rail Train Schedules for Boston Workers

The Issue

I, like many other hardworking Bostonians, rely on the MBTA's commuter rail train service to reach my workplace. Unfortunately, the current schedule does not align with my work hours, creating significant stress and inconvenience. Many workers face similar issues. The lack of coordination between standard work hours and the MBTA's current commuter rail schedule unfairly burdens those of us who contribute to the city's economy and rely on this critical infrastructure.

In 2019, the MBTA transported an average of 1.26 million passengers each weekday. Imagine the number of those passengers, like me, who may face daily scheduling conflicts due to the misalignment of commuter rail train schedules with common work shift timings. Our plea is simple: The MBTA should revise and improve their commuter rail train schedule, considering the peak working hours in Boston. This action will greatly and positively impact the daily lives of workers commuting to and from Boston.

Please sign this petition to support a call for the MBTA to accommodate the needs of Boston's workforce more effectively. Your signature can make a world of difference to the thousands like me who depend on these services.
