Recently, at my school campus earlier in the 2025-26 school year, I was sexually harassed by a former friend of mine.

I do not want to go into detail about what they did, but long story short i am being forced to switch classes, i will be taking a new elective, a new language, and will have completely new teachers.

While i am not being forced to switch, i will have to endure classtime and possible discussion with said student, as a seperation agreement cannot be filed unless i get a class change.

as far as what has been communicated to me and my family, the offender in this situation is being let off scot free whereas I have to switch my schedules (and may have to form new social groups) (jk cathy taya sarah and chels love yall)

another instance of this happening on campus is when 2 of my close friends had mountain dew thrown at them during gym class, after finding my friend crying in the bathroom and my friend giving me a very colorful explanation, i found out that after filing a report against said student, nothing happened.

I dont just want to ensure safety to me and my friends, but also safety for students across the HISD district. I've been bullied, and have had friends that have been bullied. the results arent very pretty to say the least. In both instances of bullying, almost every bully was let off scot free.

Do better HISD.
