Clubhouse, a reputable social networking app, has unbeknownst to it been an arena for misleading activities. It has been brought to light that the Ghanaian house, Oseikrom Geng, operating within the app has been scamming users under the guise of charity work. Presenting themselves as a pseudo Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that donates to the less privileged in Ghana, this house persuades users to give donations which they, unfortunately, largely misuse. It is distressing to note that only an insignificant portion of collected funds goes to the intended cause. The rest is claimed by the administrators for personal projects. When support is given, it should reach the right parties. As such, it is imperative that Clubhouse takes prompt action to close and ban Oseikrom Geng, and by so doing deter such exploitation of philanthropic initiatives from happening in the future.
