I am a resident living next door to the biowaste plant adjacent to Modera Germantown. The peace of my home and neighborhood is frequently disturbed by the overwhelming odors, including strong smell of feces, emanating from the plant. Beyond the nuisance, I am extremely worried about the potential health risks that these fumes pose.

The World Health Organization has highlighted serious health impacts associated with poor air quality, such as respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. With this in mind, it becomes clear that our troubling situation demands immediate and decisive action.

It is our collective request that the authorities should mandate the biowaste plant to urgently implement measures to control the unpleasant odors. No one should have to live with the constant disturbance and health risks caused by such overwhelming odors and fumes.
