I am presenting this petition out of a deep sense of discomfort and vulnerability. The Snapchat stickers of my face that Ayush has created and preserved makes me feel intentionally misrepresented and seriously impacts my self-esteem. It's time to address this problem head-on.

Snapchat stickers, while seemingly fun and harmless, hold immense potential for misuse. When one's face becomes unwillingly a part of someone else's digital collection, it feels intrusive and disturbing. We all are entitled to control our own digital identities and how we're represented online - a right that is currently being violated.

According to a study published in the Journal of Cybersecurity and Privacy, 60% of subjects felt that misuse of personal images and information had a detrimental effect on their mental health (Cybersecurity & Privacy Journal, 2018). The right to privacy, something that is globally recognized and upheld, feels jeopardized in this context.

By having Ayush delete all Snapchat stickers of my face, we will rectify my personal issue, but we also send a strong message to people everywhere that privacy and respect for one's image and identity are fundamental rights.
