The Issue

Yet, in recent times, I find myself increasingly concerned for the future we are crafting for the next generations. I firmly believe that our government should be led by individuals whose ultimate allegiance lies with America, and America alone. This conviction stems from a deeply personal place, where my utmost priority is to preserve the values and freedoms that define this nation for those who will come after us.
Foreign-born individuals, while they may bring diverse perspectives and experiences, come with complex ties to their countries of origin. Such ties may range from cultural loyalties to economic interests that could, at times, conflict with the interests of our country. In this context, our Congress should be composed of members whose roots and loyalties are unequivocally American, which is why I'm advocating for a law mandating that all members of Congress be American born.
By ensuring that only native-born citizens hold these positions, we eliminate the risks posed by potential international allegiances, thus safeguarding the interests of the United States.
