Require accountability for Price County Administrator

Require accountability for Price County Administrator
The Issue
Our Price County expenditures have soared by over 20 million dollars, since the Price County administrator took up his role as county administrator, and it's time to hold him accountable. Like many residents here in Price County, I've watched with growing concern as decisions that should be representing the interests of our entire community seem to cater only to a select group. This is not how government should operate.
Currently, Nick Trimner's job description ties him to the ambitions of the elite few within the board, rather than being answerable to the entire Price County board of supervisors. By reducing the oversight of his performance reviews, we are essentially allowing unchecked power to persist, which is a threat to our county's integrity. This is a manifestation of misguided bureaucracy, and it is detrimental to us all.
Check out how Price Counties unelected officials are accountable to WE THE PEOPLE. This is the April 14th administration committee meeting of the Price county supervisors. It is almost impossible to fire the person in this position , even if we wanted to.

District 5 of Price County did not get any forms to review the County Administrator in 2025
The lack of accountability and transparency is setting Price County up for failure. We deserve representatives who will bring forth resolutions that reflect the needs and wants of the entire county, not just a self-serving segment. An illegitimate and ineffective government model will only lead to more financial strain on residents and potentially stifle the community’s growth.
It is imperative that Nick Trimner's job description is revised, ensuring he answers to the entire board, enabling supervisors to effectively bring balanced resolutions forward. This change will not only create a more honest government but will also restore faith among residents and promote a fairer, more democratic process for Price County.
Sign this petition to require the Price County board of supervisors to amend Nick Trimmer's job description so that he is accountable to the entire board and the people of Price County, thereby ensuring a better future for us all.
Let's return democracy and transparency to Price County governance. Sign now to make a difference.
