Several community members in Grand Rapids, MI have experienced violations of rights from officers of the court. Police agencies, internal affairs & public defenders are refusing or giving partial denials on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) & discovery requests. This lack of transparency undermines the justice in our judicial system and is detrimental to our communities. Main stream media information is biased & controlled. Several Officers of the law are chauvinistic, By requiring all police body and dash cam footage, as well as court proceedings that are public records, to be uploaded to a public network, where we can ensured there’s public safety, accountability and transparency in our judicial systems.

According to the Michigan FOIA law, citizens have the right to access public records; however, that’s not being enforce, restraining the public awareness & blind to hiding agendas. Transparency is crucial for justice and accountability in our community.
