To: All Elected Federal officials in Virginia 

As a member of the Virginia Iranian American community, I ask you and our other elected officials to support the desires of the brave Iranian women. We urge you to strongly condemn the inhumane policies of the theocratic regime in Iran. 

Individuals who are given positions of power and authority should not have immunity in the crimes they commit against humanity. These crimes include but are not limited to—execution, illegitimate arrests, rape, and battery. I further request your leadership in sponsoring resolutions in your respective elected assembly against the regime’s brutality. 

Virginia is home to around 300,000 Iranian Americans who have made great contributions to our commonwealth and country over the last 40+ years. These constituencies are united on this issue. They have a strong voice and presence in the Commonwealth and will participate in the upcoming local and national elections in large numbers.

The Iranian American community respectfully asks for the following:

1. Close the Interests Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Washington DC and expel all their diplomats who are spies of the regime.
2. Stop all negotiations with the terrorist IRGC and Islamic Republic Regime. 
3. Oppose release of monetary funds to the regime for any reason as it will not benefit the people of Iran but aids the regime’s supporters and proxies in the Middle East.
4. Seize the bank accounts and assets of the regime’s authorities and their family members in the United States. It is deplorable for them to be living freely off wealth sponsored by the bloodshed of Iranian people. Deport them back to Iran.

We will not tolerate another betrayal of the brave Iranian people who are struggling for a democratic and secular government. We stand with the Iranian people in their pursuit of life, liberty, justice, and happiness.
