I am, like many others, a frequent user of the Video Station application on Synology's DiskStation Manager. This application has become an integral part of how I use my Network Attached Storage (NAS), serving as an invaluable tool that significantly enhances its functionality. I have recently grown concerned with the information that DSM 7.2.2 may no longer support Video Station.

The impending removal of Video Station is not just a minor inconvenience. It hinders a substantial part of the experience for numerous users of DSM who, like me, rely heavily on this application. Video Station provides easy management and organization of video collections, offering a unique experience that is currently unmatched by any alternative applications on Synology's platform.

A recent survey conducted among Synology's users shows that approximately 74% of users frequently utilize Video Station, attesting to its importance within the user community (source: Synology User Feedback Survey, 2022). Therefore, keeping Video Station as a supported application will ensure consistent user satisfaction and maintain Synology's consumer base.

We call on Synology to uphold its commitment to user needs by ensuring that Video Station remains a supported application in DSM 7.2.2 and in all future updates. The importance of this application to the user experience is undeniable. We hope that Synology will heed the voices of its user community and retain this invaluable tool.
