On average, these incidents occur about every fortnight, and despite our efforts to seek other avenues of redress, the issue remains unsolved.

Statistically, recurring antisocial behaviour in residential areas can lead to decreased feelings of safety and increased mental stress among residents. Furthermore, studies indicate that areas known for late-night disturbances see a corresponding decline in property values and community wellbeing. This is not just a personal inconvenience but a community-wide issue that impacts our quality of life and our sense of security.

We are not requesting this action without consideration for those who rely on public payphones. However, it's essential to weigh the greater harm that the continued presence of this phone brings to our neighbourhood.
