Let's Dance (and cycle and aqua)

It’s official! I am absolutely delighted to write that from 25th May, commercial music is returning to cycle, dance and aqua classes at many Virgin Active gyms.

Thank you to all of you for your efforts in keeping this issue on the agenda, and to Virgin Active for recognising how fundamental music is to the group exercise experience and bringing the joy back to our clubs. I hope the wider industry also takes this opportunity to recognise the significant physiological and psychological benefits of exercising to great music.

Whilst we will continue to campaign for the clubs and classes not included in this announcement, we will celebrate this step. I know how much this means to so many of us, and I can’t wait to see you in a class soon.
