Request McDonald's UK to offer gluten-free buns

Request McDonald's UK to offer gluten-free buns
The Issue
In many countries around the world, McDonald's offers the option of gluten-free buns. However, in the UK, this option is notably absent. As someone who requires a gluten-free diet, I find myself constantly limited in my fast-food choices, while those in other countries can enjoy their meals at McDonald's without worry.
McDonald’s UK will tell you it’s a space issue within their stores, this is completely wrong , Subway offers GF Subs and their stores are 1/4 the size. I really don’t understand how one of the world’s biggest brands cannot cater for a Gluten free diet.
please help me get the signatures so I can personally take this to McDonald’s and push the issue.
Gluten intolerance and celiac disease affect a significant portion of the UK population. In fact, Coeliac UK estimates that 1 in 100 people are affected by coeliac disease, with many more experiencing non-coeliac gluten sensitivity. The availability of gluten-free buns at McDonald's could offer a worry-free dining experience for countless individuals who currently have to avoid their favourite fast-food joint.
Moreover, providing gluten-free options is not only a matter of inclusivity but also aligns with growing health trends. The market for gluten-free products has been expanding rapidly, with a market value projected to grow significantly globally in the coming years. By offering gluten-free buns, McDonald's UK has the opportunity to serve a wider customer base and capitalize on this growing trend.
We are calling on McDonald's UK to follow in the footsteps of other countries, recognizing the needs of their gluten-intolerant customers and providing a safe dining option with gluten-free buns. This not only shows respect for those with dietary restrictions but also keeps McDonald's competitive and appealing in the fast-food industry.
Please join us in urging McDonald's UK to make this small yet impactful change. Sign this petition to bring the joy of McDonald's to everyone, regardless of dietary needs.
