Addressed to: U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and Relevant Federal Authorities

We, the undersigned, respectfully request a thorough and transparent investigation into Mr. Manuel Milanés Pizonero to clarify the circumstances of his entry into the United States, including the responses he provided to immigration authorities regarding any affiliation or participation in communist or related organizations, as well as his history of ties to the Cuban regime.

It is known that Manuel Milanés Pizonero worked for Acorec S.A., a company linked to the Cuban dictatorship, raising concerns about his potential connections to the Cuban government. Additionally, in an interview, Milanés stated that he does not wish to become a U.S. citizen and that, in the event of a military conflict between the United States and Cuba, he would fight on Cuba’s side. It is also known that Milanés was a member of the Communist Youth Union (UJC) and is highly likely to have been a member of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC). Furthermore, several of his family members hold positions within the Cuban regime, reinforcing the need for a detailed investigation.

As concerned citizens and residents committed to the integrity and security of our immigration processes, we believe it is essential to ensure transparency in cases that raise public doubts. Therefore, we request the following:

1. Comprehensive Investigation: That the competent authorities review Manuel Milanés’s entry records to the United States, including the statements made during his interview with immigration authorities, with particular attention to any questions regarding his affiliation with communism, the PCC, the UJC, or his work for Acorec S.A.

2. Disclosure of Information: That, to the extent permitted by law, relevant information about the responses provided by Mr. Milanés Pizonero , as well as any details related to his ties to the Cuban regime and his public statements about his loyalty to Cuba, be made public.

3. Responsible Action: That the necessary measures be taken to ensure the immigration process was conducted in accordance with current laws and regulations, considering the potential implications of his background and statements.

This petition does not seek to prejudge or accuse but to promote clarity and trust in the U.S. immigration system. We demand that this investigation be conducted impartially, respecting the rights of all parties involved, while addressing the serious concerns raised by Milanés’s ties to the Cuban regime and his public statements.

We thank you in advance for your attention to this request and trust that the authorities will act diligently to address the concerns of the public.
