Dear sir, we the youth (under 30) is highly concerned about the decision to vaccinate the adults aged 20 to 30 in Sri Lanka. 

But we are not impressed with the decision to vaccinate the youth with several vaccine types. according to the WHO (Annexure II), FDA USA (Annexure III) and NHS UK (Annexure IV) and as well as manufacturer's recommendations Pfizer - BioNTech is the only vaccine against Covid 19 recommended for children and adolescents of 12 years and above.

So, we firmly believe that Pfizer - BioNTech vaccine should be reserved for the 20 - 30 aged population with the intention of preventing deaths, serious cases as well as complications.

We strongly request Pfizer - BioNTech vaccine for the 20- 30 aged population as the majority of them are aspiring to study abroad and some countries reject the Sinopharm vaccine.
