We, the undersigned residents of Mokhotlong district, hereby request the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority to assist in the upgrading of the Mokhotlong football ground to meet the standards set by the Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

As passionate members of our community, we are excited about the recent achievement of a team from Mokhotlong (Mzamane FC) qualifying for the premier league. This historic milestone not only brings pride to our district but also presents us with a unique opportunity to host premier league matches. However, the current state of the Mokhotlong football ground does not meet the required standards for hosting such prestigious events.

Without significant upgrades and construction work, our home games are at risk of being relocated to distant locations, depriving our community of the economic and social benefits associated with hosting premier league matches. Moreover, the lack of adequate sports infrastructure hinders the development and growth of football within our district.

Therefore, we call upon the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority to prioritize the construction and upgrading of the Mokhotlong football ground. By investing in this project, you will not only be supporting the development of sports infrastructure but also fostering a sense of pride and unity within our community.

We urge you to consider our humble request and take the necessary steps to support this important community initiative.

A formal letter will be mailed to Polihali Branch Offices and copies made to relevant offices of the Authority and Mokhotlong DIFA.
